The inclination angle of a platform is critical in ensuring the stability of the platform. Excess tilt may cause the platform to topple and cause irreparable damage. By providing a constant readout of the inclination angle in each axis will prevent such incidents from happening.
The platform inclination system is to monitor the inclination of the platform in the x and y axis. Two threshold levels can be preset according to the user requirements. When the threshold limits are exceeded, the system can trigger an audio/visual alarm or trip the control system. A constant readout of the inclination angle is also provided by a digital display meter.
The platform inclination can be used in various applications like detection of ship roll and pitch, alignment of structures, the inclination of cranes and offshore platforms.
